Residents

Most of the settlers of Lost Camp were related. They probably traveled together from Nauvoo, Hancock, Illinois. It is possible that the families all stayed at Lost Camp.

The Merrill family was not related. They were directed here when Margaret Ann Richison Merrill was experiencing childbirth and could not keep up with the main migrating company.
