Residents of Ponca Camp Settlement

Residents

Most of the names of residents were taken from Journal entries by Newel K. Knight and Joseph Holbrook.  Sometimes only the head of household was listed.  Other members of the family have been added. Those that were listed in the sources have been bolded.  The spelling of the names have also been corrected from the original spellings. It has been estimated that 400 people were living in Ponca Camp between August 1846 and April 1847.
