Residents of Springville, Pottawattamie County, Iowa
Residents
1850 U. S. Census, Pottawattamie County, Iowa
It appears that Luke Johnson went from Allred’s Camp to enumerate Springville for the 1850 U. S. Census at the end of the day on November 2nd when he began with Dwelling #926 or that Dwellings #926 and #927 were possibly the end of Allred’s Camp and he began with Springville on November 4th and concluded on November 8th with Dwelling #989. However, he may have proceeded to Pleasant Valley, Pleasant Grove, Downsville and then to North Pigeon. By November 15th, he was back to known residents of Springville and Dwellings #1069-11105. He then might have gone back tp Pleasant Valley and Pleasant Grove. The following families with their ages and occupations were listed.
