Lake Branch Historical Record and Record of Members
On July 17, 1848, Elders George A. Smith and Ezra T. Benson conducted a meeting at the home of Brother Green to organize the Branch. At that meeting, Father Burd (Benjamin F. Bird) was approved as President and Bishop. Ira Ames was Counselor and Joseph Tippets as Clerk. The time period listed 1848-1852 was for the Historical Record and Early to 1851 was for the Record of Members. The names listed in that record printed in bold type (1).
