William Parker married Mrs. Harriet Burton on June 4, 1850.William died on September 2, 1850.Sarah died on August 16, Eliza Rebecca on October 8, and Emma on October 31, all in 1850.Harriet was listed on the 1852 Iowa State Census in Pottawattamie County.Harriet and her surviving children came west with the Mark Hall Company in 1852.
