Residents of the Settlement of Bigler's Grove, Harrison County, Iowa

Residents

Luke Johnson most likely enumerated Bigler's Grove on November 19th, 1850. There is probably an overlap among the settlements of Shirts' Camp, later called Smith's Camp and then finally Tennessee Hollow and the Buoyo settlement. Many of the early settlers were from the South.
